This is true for both old versions of PLOT-10 and newer hacked versions. Incidently, for comparison, the UniTerm Tektronix emulator appears to be about twice as fast as the Versaterm Tektronix emulator on a MacIntosh, and about 9 times as fast as the Tektronix emulator on a VT240.
