I was at an ATARI promotional show yesterday. It was held in the showroom of one of the bigger ATARI dealers in Bonn. There was a representative of ATARI Germany demonstrating the new Mega series, and I asked innocently about a remedy for the 40 folders bug and/or a new ROM release. (BTW: the ROMs he had in his Mega ST were dated 27-Feb-87, if I remember correctly.) This is what he answered, and I'll try to quote him literally: " ... there will NOT BE A ROM UPGRADE that fixes the 40 folder problem. Instead, there will be an external program that increases the folder limit to about 900. This program will be made available via BBS and our dealers. " Anyone@Atari for comments ???????????????
