Some time ago I has the same idee, but it is to much work. You could connect a 1.2MB floppy on the 6300. There are 2 usefull modes: 1: When you could switch (or change) the speed of the drive to 300 rpm. You could use is as a 720KB drive. 2: For 1.2MB you must change the clock freqention of the 765 to 8MHz by changing a jumper, double the faselock oscilator frequention, change the time of an oneshot and make some changes in the systeemsoftware.
