Message-ID: <599@rdin.UUCP> Date: Fri, 10-Apr-87 13:09:10 EST Article-I.D.: rdin.599 Posted: Fri Apr 10 13:09:10 1987 Date-Received: Sun, 12-Apr-87 05:45:32 EST Organization: Resource Dynamics Inc., New York Lines: 14 Here's my situation: We are buying a used MicroVAX II. The price is based on the claim that it has 3 megabytes of memory and double precision floating point. I need to confirm this. How can I tell if it has double precision floating point? I looked at the CPU board (or what I guess is the CPU board) and saw two chips in sockets marked "23110E6" and "23111E6". Does this mean anything to anyone? Under MicroVMS, "SHOW MEMORY" says: "3.00 Mb". Can I trust this? The board next to the CPU would appear to be a memory board and it is about half populated. Robert Perlberg Resource Dynamics Inc.
