And about the memory, it is possible that the memory board you have is a 4-Meg board, but with only 2-Meg worth of chips on it (hence only half full). The basic Micro-VAX comes with 1 Meg of memory, I believe. I wouldn't trust SHOW MEMORY at all. Friend of mine once told me that he was working on a 750 which SHOW MEMORY says he got 4 Meg of memory, but physically the 750 has 8 Meg! Some bozo never changed the sysgen parameters after they installed the new memory. ...
