In an attempt to prevent this, I posted my intent to post *ARC* binaries in 10 days, waited those 10 days to ensure no duplicate postings, then posted. The posting was in comp.sources.misc, as advertised, and a cross-reference put in comp.sys.ibm.pc. The next day comp.sys.ibm.pc had duplicate binaries. Sigh. PLEASE no mail, my mailbox is bulging already. At least I tried to avoid this. As a sidebar mea culpa, I posted late at night (cheap time) and had some typos in the *.COM names. Corrections have been provided by at least three people, and I will not repeat them to save some space. My recommendation is to use the comp.sys. ibm.pc postings, and use mine in comp.sources.misc as back-up as necessary (after correcting the typo's). I DID post the MOST current. In any case, checkout the PKFIND10.COM and DISSQASH.PAT uuencodes. Again no mail please, unless it is a specific implementation question. thanks for your patience. -- ----- Terry Sterkel -====---- AT&T Bell Laboratories --------- {clyde|harvard|cbosgd|allegra|ulysses|ihnp4}!whuts!tes ----- [opinions are obviously only my own]
