It's an internal modem for the PC, and supports the standard hayes commands plus what I guess is the US Robotics extensions. It comes with a one year warranty, I believe (I mislaid the warranty card somewhere). All in all a good buy. Considering the amount of circuitry involved they should all be this price. -- David L.
