I while ago I requested info. on how to get DOS to ignore ctrl/z
on char devices and how to get it to read/write more than one
character at a time from/to the device driver.  Several people
responded and I would like to thank them for taking the time.

The short version of the answers I got is to do an ioctl on
the device to put it in raw mode.  I won't post further details
as others have done so since my request. Once again, thanks to
those who responded.
