I currently own two SCSI hard disks and controllers, and a Memtec SCSI streaming tape drive and controller. If I plugged these into a Mac SCSI port, what system software is available to support them? I don't mind writing higher-level applications ("tar", etc.), as long as I can have SCSI driver routines available. Also, is SCSI hard disk support already present, or must the various suppliers of hard disk add-ons supply their own formatting programs or kernel patches, etc.? It would be nice if I could just plug in my drive and controller, and go. -- Doug Braun AT+T Bell Labs, Murray Hill, NJ m10ux!braun 201 582-7039
