I've recently  been  running  into a situation where, from within 
various  applications, the  Imagewriter  print  driver  magically 
becomes un-chosen.

I'm running a Mac-Plus,  System  4.0,  Finder  5.4,  and the most 
current Chooser and print drivers.

Sometimes, I hit the Page  Setup  or  Print  menu item and get NO 
response  (ie.   the 'File' header  returns  to  un-highlighted), 
other times the program complains in some  manner indicating that 
it wants me to choose a printer.   When  I  bring  up Chooser, it 
either shows NO driver selected, or shows the MacPallette  driver 
selected (which I had NOT selected).

Has anyone else experienced this and have an explination or  work 
around?
