I'd like some opinions of the best sound capture/editing software 
available to product  sound  files which can be used by SoundPlay 
and the INIT routine which plays such files instead of the system 
'beep'.

I believe that there are  at  least  2 such sound packages on the 
market.  Are the files output from both compatible?
