Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. ============================================================================== Here's the scenario: MacPlus and IBM PC XT connected via Apple Talk with TOPS networking software. The Mac has an HD20 hard disk published on the network as a single volume. The PC has the HD20 mounted as volume H:. An ALLOY 1/4" tape backup is attached to the PC running ALLOY Tip6 software. What I am trying to do is use the ALLOY tape backup to backup H:/*.* (i.e. the HD20 over the network). It works fine for a while but then stops before comp- leting the backup. The place where it stops is random. Any ideas how I can make this work? ============================================================================== -- =============================================================================== + The Company supports my family, not my opinions. + + David Macy-Beckwith + + {hplabs|sdcsvax|ncr-sd|hpfcla|ihnp4}!hp-sdd!artecon!macbeth +
