Message-ID: <4800002@hplvdd.HP.COM> Date: Wed, 29-Apr-87 11:25:48 EDT Article-I.D.: hplvdd.4800002 Posted: Wed Apr 29 11:25:48 1987 Date-Received: Sun, 3-May-87 06:18:15 EDT Organization: HP Loveland Inst Div, CO Lines: 27 I have a Model 100, which is a great little portable for most of my uses, especially packet radio, but I think there is a problem in the built-in telecomm program for the RS-232 port. I am not positive of the cause, but I think the M100 is forgetting that it sent a XOFF and never sends an XON. It happens infrequently but the RS-232 protocol analyzer seems to indicate this is whats happening, if I am reading it correctly. I have a couple of questions about this: a. Are there any Ft Worth Tandy/RS types on the net? b. The local store is not helpful on this issue. Is there a bug report/patch/new release of ROM program for the Model 100? c. Is the M100 too old to be covered by software maintenance? d. (Is this an old problem that I am bringing up for the 9000th time and boring net oldtimers?) Any help will be appreciated........chris -------------------------------------- Standard Disclaimer that I may not know what I am talking about and that even if I did I don't represent anyone except myself. --------------------------------------
