Message-ID: <1729@lsuc.UUCP> Date: Sat, 18-Apr-87 22:20:53 EST Article-I.D.: lsuc.1729 Posted: Sat Apr 18 22:20:53 1987 Date-Received: Sun, 19-Apr-87 07:35:40 EST Organization: Law Society of Upper Canada, Toronto Lines: 19 What's the current state of Unices or lookalikes for the IBM 4381? I know there was something calls UTS made by Amdahl years ago, and presumably still is, but last time I looked into it it was horrendously expensive (thousands per month to license). We're looking at trying to get a CAI course written here running at a local community college that has a 4381 (running VM, I believe). It will only be a tiny application relative to everything else the machine is doing, so the UNIX can't be to expensive. Thanks for any pointers.
