I guess I should have been more complete in my description of the situation... I have a PT-VME903A q22 to vme bus converter from Performance Technologies which does mapping of vme devices onto the q bus. This presents its own problems since the Datacube stuff COULD use up to 8MB if one bought all their boards (highly unlikely for us!) and the q-bus is only 22bits wide. Anyway, the q to vme adaptor does byte swapping on word transfers and all that for me: all I have to do is set it up and get it going. It looks like quite a bit of work, soooo If anyone out there has any experience with this device (and especially if you have a spare copy of a driver sitting around!) I'd sure appreciate any help.
