What about waiter and waitress?  My dictionary describes waiter as "one
that waits on another; esp: a man who waits on table (as in a restaurant)",
while a waitress is "a girl or woman who waits on table (as in a 
restaurant)".

Enough with the hoopla!  The wizard community (female, male and otherwise :-) )
should concentrate on wizard activities and leave the language problems
to the compiler people.
