this is an X novice user question!

I have X installed on a sun3.3 system,
which consits of a sun3/260 without bitmap (call this N)
and a a diskless client sun3/50 (call this A).

X is working just fine on my client however when i try to
start up somethings to do a remote display like

N> xperfmon A:0

It dumps core.  I do a "setenv DISPLAY A:0".  But it doesn't work.

Any clues?  I have used some other remote servers and done
a	"xperfmon A:0" and it works like a champ.  But not
on MY server!
