I have suggested the following configuration: -a Kinetics Fastpath -Columbia University's CAPS code -Abode's TransScript The object is to share the LaserWriters without having to physically switch them back a forth between Special mode and Appletalk mode. I am looking for the answers to the following questions: Does the configuration work? Is manual switching necessary? Is this slower than seperate Laserwriters for the UNIX workstations and the Mac's? My feeling is that it should work, but since I have not seen any success stories I am not sure that it is "fool proof". I'll summarize the answers for the net if needed. SaS PS: Remember that nothing is fool proof, because fools are so ingenious.
