At our systems students, with litle or no experience in C, often
have problems with compiler error messages. This gives the staff
a lot of work in answering questions about things that are not
really important and also wastes students time keeping them from
there tasks.
We heard about a program called LINT that would do various checks
and produce messages that are more clear.
My questions are:
Does LINT exist and if so: is LINT available for VAX/VMS, where
can I get it and what are the terms.
