I've just doubled the memory of our 8600 from 16Mb to 32 Mb, and ran AUTOGEN. No UAF parameters (WSxxx, etc) have been modified yet. Everything runs fine, except some very large Fortran application programs (Gaussian-82, for example) don't run anymore. It bombs out with a %LIB-F-INSVIRMEM, insufficent virtual memory error. This seems ridiculous at best. AUTOGEN didn't seem to do anything out of the ordinary. VIRTUALPAGECNT is correct (twice what it used to be). Any ideas, experiences, etc., as to why this fatal error would occur? Things run fine with 16Mb. (By the way, TSC has not been able to figure this one out) We're running V4.5, Fortran V4.5.
