Hi,

        We had the same problem here once. After a backup and reboot sys$system
had a new version of phone in it that didnt work. We never did figure out
what was wrong and just wrote it off because its never happened again. I cant
remember if we did a restore that night but i dont think we did.

        Also, Are there any systems that have a library of VAX programs on them
for FTP-ing. Im trying to compile a list of all such nodes and any help would
be appreciated. Im mainly interested in stuff on ARPA.
