That's why Bruce Springsteen is so popular: his

Ditto Mick Jagger, Huey Lewis, Tom Petty, Bob Seger, Louis Armstrong, The
Bee-Gees, Chrissie Hynde, Pee-Wee Herman, Simon LeBon, etc.: Americans
wouldn't put up with these people if they had dumb voices.
