It was never discovered because most of the telnet servers out there (except SUN3's) are smart enough to understand it as a newline. All SU MacIP disks sent out after April 7th should have this problem fixed. There is also another bug in TCP has been fixed. The timeout value for retransmission after connection established, is too small. It will give problem when connecting to a distant host. We don't set any specific date on SMTP for mac. We are now in the process of merging all MacIP applications into one program. So you can have multiple sessions active at once. Hopefully SMTP will be one of them. Andy
