I can connect to the site fine, login anonymous, ls works -- but "dir" and the "*get" functions hang, finally timeout with the message "connection reset by peer". This behaviour is exhibited on all hosts on our internal network also. Here is a sample: 101% ftp parcvax.xerox.com Connected to parcvax.xerox.com. 220 parcvax.xerox.com FTP server (Version 4.105 Mon Jun 2 17:55:28 PDT 1986) ready. I can ftp to other 4.3 sites, 4.2 sites, TENEX, etc.... with no problem. Also, I can get files using a Xerox 1109 using TCP/IP from parcvax. But not from any of my unix hosts on my network. Any hints anyone can give would be appreciated. -- Mark Starner starner@burdvax.prc.unisys.com Unisys Corporation/Paoli Research Center {seismo, sdcrdcf}!burdvax!starner Paoli, PA
