How they are assigned is a mystery to me - probably randomly, like many other ham radio things (callsigns in the US are assigned randomly with K, N, and W)... Since I am replying through the bboard, I don't want to send a 350+ line file, so if you are interested in it, could you send me a gateway machine name, or something I can use to relay this to you..
