It was developed under the leadership of a fellow named Andy Tanenbaum from VU Informatica, Amsterdam. I believe that a new notesgroup has been started (about 2 months ago) under comp.os.minix to handle traffic associated with this interesting solution to PC UN*X availability. Some concerns have been raised that support for various PC look-alikes is not widespread, but check the notesgroup for those issues (hey, netters! is the notesgroup that I'm specifying the correct one and is it still active?). The path that I have to Andy is: decwrl!decvax!ucbvax!ucbcad!ames!lll-lcc!seismo! (and then I run out of room on the printout--real helpful stuff, huh!). Hope this helps or jogs some more informed persons memory! kb
