Either send mail, or confine your discussion o one >proper< newsgroup. /* line eater go away, come again another day */ @Flame_Mode(ON) To all concerned: 1) I don't know if Foothead is an evil s.o.b., or if he was framed. 1a) I don't care. Karma will nail the "true" criminal's ass to the wall. 1b) I for one, am tired of reading about it. 2) B-Gang: he's gone now, you don't have to "defend" yourselves against Foothead's letter, so don't. 2a) I don't want to be accused of denying anyone's freedom of speech, so how about a compromise, if you want to talk about foothead, either keep it in the initial newsgroup (talk.religion.misc) so I can 'ug' it, or use the [censored] *mail* program. Look, I didn't mind the discussion while evidence was being brought forward trying to prove/disprove fh's guilt. I didn't mind the "final" messages of fh, even though they were flames. The B-Gang has now produced their response to the foothead message. THIS IS ENOUGH, take this mess out of news.sysadmin NOW. @Flame_Mode(OFF) Someone once suggested a "unsubscribe discussion" command for vnews... :-) Paul Disclaimer: OK, so I flamed, I'm sorry, but I felt it had to be done before this stupid topic perpetuated itself any further. Followups (flame or otherwise) may be sent to a suitable newsgroup such as "misc.dont.read.this.tripe" or "misc.null" -- ucbvax!ucsbcsl!nessus!paul | pst@ai.ai.mit.edu | paul%nessus@sbitp.bitnet
