Does anyone have any experience with the following low cost 2400 baud
external modems?
 
Desktalk II 2400   $199, USA Flex (800) 872-3539
   Features: Hayes clone, 5 year warranty, help screen, 11 LEDs,
	     plastic case, 30 day money back guarantee.
 
 
CEI Super Modem 2400   $199.95, Communications Electronics Inc.
	 				(800) USA-DISK
   Features: Hayes clone, 5 year warranty, help screen, 11 LEDs,
	     plastic case, non-volatile RAM, software volume control.
 
 
Expert 24e   $199, Advanced Computer Technology (800) 654-6464
   Features: Hayes clone, 2 year warranty, help screen, LEDs ?,
	     automatic data/voice switch, volume control, stores
	     two 33 digit phone numbers, aluminum (I think) case.
 
 
The Desktalk and Super Modem appear to be the same critter with
different names, the pictures look the same except for the name on
the front panel. The Expert makes no mention of LEDs, but it appears
to have an aluminum case, while the other two look like plastic.
 
For $200 I'm really tempted to move up to 2400 baud, but I'd like to
know if anyone can make a recommendation on one of these modems.
