I would be interested in finding out what the differences are between 18.44
and 18.41.  It was my hope that 18.41 could be left running for an extended
period of time and be a stable version of EMACS at our site.  As I am leaving
Buffalo in a week I do not wish to install another version and then skip town
(so to speak) unless the newer version has some major advantages.
