Carolina, Chapel Hill Lines: 17 Keywords: big, really big, immense I am taking a small survey of big polygonal databases. I know of these examples: Last Starfighter ship 250,000 polygons Chrysler Laser 70,000 polygons UNC Old Well 355 polygons :-) (Please note that these are fully-instantiated databases; stochastic mountains and the Caltech "Field of Grass" are interesting; but are not good data points.) Please *mail, Mail, MAIL* responses to me and I will summarize to the net. Thanks! -- Jeff P.M. Hultquist decvax!mcnc!unc!hultquis UNC Chapel Hill / Comp Sci hultquis@cs.unc.edu
