I have not used C in well over 5 years, so I am looking for a good book or two for refreshers. Since the last time I dabbled in C, dozens (at least) of new books have been published, and I am frankly confused as to which one(s) to buy. So if you could drop me a line with your preferences (as well as books to avoid!) I would be very appreciative. My C is so rusty as to be positively corroded away! :-) I've spent my last few years working in assembler on a weird little (Qantel) mini, so my brain (or the half of it that remains) is probably a little addled. Be kind. Thanks!
