  I am looking for literature on implementing procedure calls
  and bodys. First I'd like to query the net:

    - How can procedure objects be implemented?
    - What has to be done, if procedures are allowed as parameters
      or even as function results?
    - What implementations of languages supporting such things
      are available?
    - How did they solve the arising problems? 

  Any hint to literature or systems with interesting points regarding
  the above mentioned questions would be greatly appreciated.
