Specifically, how can one get access to the location of the variables declared in the preamble? Are these variable collected into a logical block? If so how can one get access to the name of this block? The entire purpose for all of this is to allow two simscript programs to share data using shared memory. We are trying to share variable declared in the preamble. In one attempt we are trying to over lay a FORTRAN common block which has been set up to be shared. In an other attempt we are trying to directly map the physical system pages holding the preamble between two programs. Any information or help will be GREATLY appreciated. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Bret K. Thaeler thaeler@hc.dspo.gov (ARPA) Los Alamos Nation Labs.
