Elm (at least the version we have, the one sent over the net) has a glitch
when paging through a long message on a terminal with magic cookies
(i.e. Televideo 925 with page mode attributes set).  When the prompt line
is going to be replaced with the next line of the message, Elm sends the
same number of backspaces as characters in the prompt line, without taking
into account the magic cookies.  Thus, the next screen is in reverse video.
Couldn't a return be used instead of all those backspaces?
