The fix looks pretty easy (test for a blank line, go on to the next if the top line is blank), but I am a bit wary of making an off-the-wall patch that might really start screwing up mail files. Has anyone fixed this? A related problem is that when ELM rewrites the mail file, it unlinks it (like using mv instead of cp to replace a linked file). I have some of my alternate mail files linked, so this is a pain. Again, anyone looking at this one? I could probably fix it myself, but ELM is such a big package that I worry about side effects every time I touch it. -- Bill Silvert, Modelling/Statistics Group Bedford Institute of Oceanography, Dartmouth, NS, Canada CDN or BITNET: silvert@cs.dal.cdn -- UUCP: ..!{seismo|utai}!dalcs!silvert ARPA: silvert%dalcs.uucp@seismo.CSS.GOV -- CSNET: silvert%cs.dal.cdn@ubc.csnet
