     The same problem appears on the Compaq Portable III also, except worse.
It will often not keep up with the typist (not very fast one) even when in
DOS (we're talking about a 12-MHz 80286 here).  My feeling is that Compaq 
messed up on their keyboard debounce circuitry.  At first I thought this was
an isolated case, but maybe it's not...=)~wgk
