As far as I know, a minc23 is just a bizarrely packaged 11/23. As long as you have a decent amount of ram in it (like 256k), it should *run* 2.9. The problem is that 2.9 doesn't support booting off of rd5x's, so I'm told. I'm also told that 2.10, which is expected "soon" will. If I'm wrong here, please don't flame. I'm a humble cruftarian who's still trying to figure out how to put a 2.9 tape into an rl018^)
