If everything goes well, I will stagger out of Paria Canyon on the evening of June 7 after having packed through Buckskin Gulch with the Sierra Club. I don't have to be in Phoenix until the afternoon of June 9. What's worth seeing on the way down to Phoenix from Page? I've been to the Grand Canyon, of course, and I'd like to look at stuff farther south. Some suggestions I've already received: Oak Creek Canyon on Alt. 89 south of Flagstaff; Dook' o' oslid, aka the San Francisco Peaks, just north and west of Flagstaff; and the venerable Meteor Crater, off of I-40 in the direction of Winslow. The Peaks sound cooler than the others... Opinions? Thinking about things to see on the way back too, Donn Seeley University of Utah CS Dept donn@cs.utah.edu 40 46' 6"N 111 50' 34"W (801) 581-5668 utah-cs!donn
