In January, I went to Uniforum in Washington, DC. I bought a copy of the Minix book from Prentice-Hall. I was quoted $36.95, with a ten-percent show discount. My first bill was about $47. I called P-H. They sent a second bill, $43. This time I wrote to the president of the company. P-H has now corrected this situation. I know several other people on the net have had similar problems. If you're interested, I have just posted the full text of my letter, and P-H's reply, to this newsgroup. I hope this will help. -- David S.
