What's so expensive about getting patch via UUCP? I just looked, the compressed source is about 57k. If you call at 1200 baud, it will take about 8.5 minutes to transfer. Late-night rates are about 20 cents per minute anywhere in the United States, so the cost to get patch is under two dollars. My modem also supports 2400 baud v22.bis. If you call at 2400, your cost to get patch is under one dollar. -- David S.
