I have successfully set up a remote printer port for a laser printer. I want to set up a port for a LA120. The manuals give guidelines and examples which i have followed, but nothing has helped. What happens is that the job is entered into the queue with the status "starting" and then after a few seconds the queue stops and the job goes into a pending state. I thought it was possible that I set up the ports or the latcp protocol stuff wrong. but i set up the same ports and latcp info on our decserver 100 and there was no problem at all. I suspect that because the decserver 200/mc features modem control that I am not seeing something i should be aware of. Has anyone else had this problem? I would appreciate any info.
