However the model 1 also has PC board space on the memory daughterboard for 8 6264's (or an additional 64K). Is there any reason why you can't just solder some 6264's into a version 1 (and maybe a 74F138 in the right spot) and expand its memory to 96K? 2) We are about to be getting a LOT of FastPath's. I've heard talk off and on about putting an ethernet bootstrap ROM in the extra socket. Has anyone implimented this? I'd much rather burn an EPROM with the address info configured in for each one then have to worry about training users to reload the things.
