I am especially sensitive right now about issues like this, having just spend a considerable amount of time with the DoD Inspector General sorting out a similar problem, although of a different content. It seems that the policy for the Arpanet is not readily stretched into the Internet. In fact, Vint Cerf is looking into this area for the Autonomous Networks Task Force of the IAB. I appoligize if I seemed heavy handed. I really do ignore most seeming violations in the hope that no one will get upset with a little humor now and then. Also, as you pointed out, you did not purposefully send it into the Arpanet. dennis -------
