RFC-893 (Trailer Encapsulations) indicates that the header length field in the trailer is: "The header length field of the trailer data segment. This specifies the length in bytes of the following header data." However, it appears that in reality 4.3 machines take the header length to be the total trailer length (the headers plus the Type and Header Length fields). Which is correct? Bruce
