I discussed these issues with several TN3270 gurus in Monterey.  The consensus 
seemed to be that there is indeed a need for work in this area, but that none 
had the time or energy to do it.  I will agree that this is a relatively 
minor issue, but with more vendors coming out with TN3270ish programs, it's 
important that this be settled soon.  I'm willing to be in on this.
