I have a question about studies in performace of TCP over various
networks and data links.

Does anyone know of studies into the performance of TCP over various 
networks especially where different datalink protocols are involved.
The current discussion of TCP segment size selection prompted my interest 
in this.  I have read RFC889 "Internet Delay Experiments".
