Files with a .Z suffix must be downloaded with your download software (kermit, ftp, whatever..) in binary mode. If you are accessing a tops-20 machine for the download, try "image" mode. For more info see the documentation for whatever software you are using. The command to use to decode a .Z file is uncompress. This should work. ==-------- ------ I hope this helps...
