If you type standard input of two very short lines, say
"aaa" for line 1, and then "bbb" for line 2, followed by
control-D; after "raining", the last two lines shown are
"aa" and "bbba" at the bottom of my vt100.  Is this a bug
and is it reproducible on other terminals or machines?
My apologies if this has been discussed recently; I just
started reading this newsgroup.

PS, in order to get it to work on our machine, I had to
change the fputs() call into a tputs() call.  We are
CCI SV running on a CCI Power 6/32, with curses. Again,
sorry if this has been discussed.
