Failing that is there |a CAT->DVI or DITROFF->DVI filter out there? Why would you want to do this? It is probably easier to write the device driver for ditroff than to write a converter. Besides, the output of ditroff is already device dependent. I've done a ditroff previewer so I know what I'm talking about. I prefer TeX but I don't consider the output of ditroff to be weird. It was intended to be readable, well at least as readable as assembly language. Troff output is a different can of worms. Ken
