(Anyone already done one?) I've started with a copy of the source code for the hp printer driver, but I'm stuck. I "cc -c"'ed the file, expecting to take the .o file and copy it to the right place. I looked at the .o file and saw that unlike the drivers that the vendor provided, my file had all sorts of gunk in it like ".text" ".data", ".dss" etc (it's a 286 machine). I thought, weeeeeel, I'll try to strip the file, but strip said it would not. Query: How the **&%*&^%$ does someone create a printer driver (I know this question was placed on the net a little over a month ago, I appologise for bringing it up again, but I don't have archives that far back). Specific Query: Does anyone have an epson printer driver that they're willing to share? (I run Microport SysV/AT).
